About the Gloves

- 5-layer high-tech padding for maximum shock absorbed.
- Strong Velcro Fastening For Secure Fit And stabilization.
- Sweat-absorbing inner lining.
The Legacy 2.0 range is a Bad Boy’s high-quality premium collection and these gloves are a key part of it. They also have a lace-up version. However, the Velcro is a lot more convenient if you don’t have someone to lace-up your gloves all the time.
The gloves are available in 4 different sizes – 10oz, 12oz, 14oz, and 16oz.
Obviously, if you want to spar with these, make sure to get the bigger ones – 14oz or 16oz. Especially if you are a powerful puncher.
This way you are getting a maximum amount of padding. Actually, Bad Boy experimented a lot and come up with unique 5-layer padding.
Material and Appearance
The leather is very high-quality with a matte finish making them one of the most good-looking gloves on the market. Also, the Bad Boy Legacy gloves have a soft feel and they don’t need a break-in period like the most of the boxing gloves.
Hence, you can use them right away for sparring, without worrying that you will hurt your sparring partner.
Thera is 3 colors available – black, brown, and white.
All of them are great looking and they definitely catch the eye.
Speaking about appearance, for the athletes that like the old, classical boxing gloves look, the brown color option gives a really authentic old-days boxing appearance of the gloves.
Bad Boy clearly put a lot of thought making the Legacy 2.0 gloves. There a lot of different cuts on the gloves which allows them to be better shaped. In addition, the stitching is done nicely and there is a total of 11 little holes at the thumb for extra breathability.
Also, when turning the gloves over you will see that they have a breathable mesh panel which helps for the air ventilation of your hand.
The inner material feels soft and comfortable. However, it can be a little rough on your hands if you are using the gloves without hand wraps.
The velcro wrist strap is just the right length – not too long and it fits perfectly securing a good wrist support.
The gloves provide a great fit and, as already stated, are ready to use immediately without a break-in period. A good thing about the Legacy 2.0 is that you can use them for everything – sparring, bag work, and hitting the pads.
At 100-120$ these gloves are made to satisfy the needs of intermediate to advanced athletes.
Of course, this is a great choice for beginners too. However, if you only have a few martial arts workouts under your belt and you are not really sure that you really like the sport, you might want to go with a cheaper option.
For example, Venum Contender boxing gloves.
If you are looking for a great looking gloves with a lot of features – then Bad Boy Legacy 2.0 is a perfect choice!
